Annual Golf Tournament June 27 at Sanctuary
THFC is honored and grateful to once again be among the select nonprofits chosen to hold a golf tournament in 2013 at the prestigious, exclusive Sanctuary in the foothills south of Denver. Our 2013 tournament will Thursday, June 27. Click here for tee times and sponsorship opportunities!

The Home Front Cares has held or participated in a variety of events in support of Colorado service members, veterans and military families. Below are some of those events held in 2012. We hope you were able to join us.
Support Us on Colorado Gives Day!
On Tuesday, Dec. 4, 2012, Coloradans will come together again to raise millions of dollars for nonprofits like ours. Last year, a remarkable $12.8 million was distributed to Colorado nonprofits. This is THFC's first year participating Colorado Gives Day, and it comes at a critical time, when for the first time in our history, we are faced with the possibility of turning away clients due to lack of funds.
Presented by Community First Foundation and FirstBank, Colorado Gives Day asks you to give to your favorite charities through the website GivingFirst.org, an online giving resource featuring every nonprofit participating in Colorado Gives Day. On this website we share our goals, accomplishments and much more.
100 percent of your donation will come to us. When you give online any time on December 4, the value of your donation will be increased by the FirstBank Incentive Fund.
Donate online at https://www.givingfirst.org/THFC/overview any time during the 24 hour period of December 4 to "give where you live" and let us continue to help Colorado service members, veterans and military families throughout the Centennial State.
THFC Receives "Top-Rated Award" from GreatNonprofits
The Home Front Cares has been honored with a prestigious 2012 Top-Rated Award by GreatNonprofits, the leading provider of user reviews about nonprofit organizations.
The 2012 Top-Rated Nonprofit List was based on the large number of positive reviews that The Home Front Cares received - reviews written by volunteers, donors and clients. People posted their personal experience with the nonprofit. You can see THFC's reviews here.
Being on the 2012 Top-Rated List comes at an important time of the year, as donors look for causes to support during the holiday season.

Being on the Top-Rated list gives donors and volunteers more confidence in a nonprofit's credibility. The reviews by volunteers, clients and other donors show the on-the-ground results of this nonprofit. The Top-Rated Award is a form of recognition by the community.

Sam's Club Raises $6K for THFC Over Veterans Day Weekend
Ten participating Sam's Clubs across Colorado raised more than $6,000 for The Home Front Cares over Veteran's Day weekend. Stores had in-store donation points, and some clubs staged outdoor cookouts manned by Sam's Club employee volunteers, despite the wintry weather that weekend.
The drive was augmented by media support THFC's friends at KKTV, 92.9 Peak FM, the Gazette, Lamar Advertising, and Lunchbucket Creative.
