The Home Front Cares protects the confidentiality of our clients. But we often receive notes of thanks, which we share with the client’s permission. The notes below highlight the life-changing impact we have on Colorado service members, veterans, and their families.
I just wanted to write and let you know how much I appreciate everything you and The Home Front Cares has done for me. I doubt I'll be able to truly express my gratitude, but I must try.Since my deployment it has seemed the world has something against me. Like I am being punished for things I did under orders in a combat zone. I have struggled to find happiness and security. This act of kindness you have bestowed upon me has given me more than simply a functioning vehicle, it has given me hope when I needed it most.
I picked my car up from the shop Friday, and she runs like the day I picked her out of the lot. Saturday was my 28th birthday, and driving down the freeway to Denver for the first time in over half-a-year was exhilarating. Without my car I was trapped, I am now able to know a freedom I thought I'd lost. With reliable transportation I am now able to apply for positions I never thought I would be able to fill, like the position I hope to interview for in Denver within a month. While not all problems are solved for me yet, I feel like I now have the means to solve them myself. And you have given me that means... by giving me hope.

I wanted to take a moment to say thank you to each of you for all of your help in getting us to Elijah's memorial service. I am so thankful I was able to be there and I realized once again why Elijah chose the Army...it is truly a family and we were treated as such.

I just heard from Reva that her grant application was approved! She was crying because she was so happy about your non-profit helping her out. She is very thankful and appreciative for you and your team helping her with the rent and bills. :)

I cannot express enough to you and Home Front Cares my gratitude in helping me out soooooo much, I have been so stressed out and felt like I had hit a brick wall and there was no way around. Because of you and the Home Front Cares Team that wall magically fell down and there is a light at the end of my dark tunnel. I would never ever have believed that there was ever an organization and a group of people who actually do help so much, who do look out for soldiers, who do support and understand the crisis that some of us face. You all are a miracle, my miracle, and I feel so blessed to have had you look at me and my situation and want to help, I cannot explain how much you have touched me and my family's lives..... I truly truly truly appreciate you and Home Front Cares and one day hope to be in the position where I can help others too =).
